Awesome! Today, if you are a member, you can finally buy an Orange Puffle!

Anyways, here’s some information about the Orange Puffle:

Heck, Macs are fast. They’re reliable, user-friendly, very sleek and modern looking, and pack a powerful punch when it comes to advance graphic/visual design. I’d know, I have one.

HOWEVER,

If you’re looking for a computer that is compatible with the majority of software on the market today, you should go with Microsoft Windows. For those of you who make Club Penguin videos and such using Sony Vegas, you use a Windows. How do I know this? Because Sony Vegas is currently only available for Windows. That is, unless you use the programs known as Boot Camp or Parallels to run Windows on your Macintosh computer. BUT, I purchased a fully-licensed version of this software that’s [supposed] to run Windows on your Macintosh “SAFELY”. However, in less than 5 hours of running this program on my MacBook, it ate up every bit of my RAM and virtual memory and crashed my hard drive. Yep, everything gone.

Anyways, back on subject.

To make a long story short, if you’re looking for a great, lightweight laptop with lots of functionality for graphic designers and/or video production, you should go with a MacBook, or, even better, Apple’s recent 2009 MacBook Pro.

If you’re looking for a computer that is great for business, work, etc. and is compatible with thousands of software, you’ll do great with a PC.

Well, that concludes my little Mac/Windows showdown. Hopefully what small bit of information I gave you could help you decide in the future whether you’d prefer a Microsoft Windows or an Apple Macintosh.
